I enjoyed this novel immensely. A lot of action and suspense. The author brought the characters to life. She did a great job bringing the reader into the lives of them. I found it hard to put down, even when I was exhausted and needed to sleep. A page turner for sure. Haven't read this yet but can hardly wait to read it. My kids attended school with Vickie & I know the book will be great. Vickie is a God Loving, special woman from a super family.
Wow! I started reading and proceeded to read the book in one sitting. Loved the characters and specifically how dynamic the main character, Leah, was. I was riveted from the first page and now suffering from a "biblio hangover" as I do not have anything that will match this book. Great book! I recommend it to all.
What an awesome book!! It kept me on the edge of my seat from the very first page! I can't wait to see what Vickie has in store in her new book! An easy read, but full of romance (not sex) and suspense/thrills. I also loved the setting being around the area that I live....I can relate so easily! Thanks for the free first chapter of the next book; I can't wait to read it!

Plot is good and ending is good. There are a few typos, and a more diverse vocabulary would have helped hold my attention, but for her first book, it is ok. I understand Vickie has a new book out. I can’t wait to read it.
Wow what a page Turner. For me it went from being g too suspenceful to icannot read it fast enough. Lots of action. I highly recommend it.
I loved this book! I looked forward to picking it up each chance I could. The author was very good with describing the details, and keeping us in suspense. I liked the place the story was told as western Colorado, where I am from. I also liked how the main character in the story struggled with her faith, but came back to God. Thanks for a well written story.
